Dropped my FS2K off at Rifle Dynamics today. They're a great bunch of guys that sponsor my website in Nevada.

And I got home just now, checked the mail and my Urban ERT sling came today.

I should be good to go next week. Cool

Got my F2K back. We decided to go a different route.

I found that they make the suppressor mount threaded for 9/16-24 LH, so instead of rethreading it I just ordered a different flash hider.

But now I won't be good to go until YHM sends the new flash hider.

Ya know, the FAL (metric) rifle has the same thread pitch on the muzzle.

Thumbs Up

But the FAL is 7.62 so I was surprised to find that they made one in the FAL threading for their 5.56 suppressor. Well whatever the reason, it works out for FS2000 owners Awesome

Phantom 5.56 Flash Hider for our Sound Suppressor

This flash hider is used for our fast-attach sound suppressor (Patent Pending). It retains the excellent flash hiding capabilities of the original Phantom. This flash hider also accepts our Phantom 7.62 Sound Suppressor.

9/16"-24 Left-Hand Thread (YHM-3102-24L) $78.00

I had my FS barrel cut and rethreaded in 1/2x28. I removed the FH and had an experienced friend of mine cut it to 16.1", and I'm pretty happy with it. It has a good look, it's completely legal, the serial number stamped in the barrel is still there, and I can attach anything I want. I haven't done any true bench-accuracy tests, but aside from that, I haven't seen any differences in accuracy. There is no chrome coming out of my crown, but I'm keeping an eye on it anyway.

I'm about to get a YHM 7.62 QD can, and I notice that they sell a 9/16"-24 Left-Hand Thread flash hider for 5.56, which fits the 7.62 can. IIRC, that's the thread pattern for the FS2000 flash hider, isn't it? If so, that should work nicely to put my can on my FS2000, right?

D'oh! I see it's already been mentioned. NVM
