Im about to jump into reloading for this little cartridge and needed some info if anyone out there has some. I've got a 15" Encore barrel coming, a few pounds of True Blue and 1,500 Nosler 35gr lead free BT. Anyone work up any loads for the Encore and True Blue? Having the chamber in the fixed barrel of the T/C ought to help a lot with the neck sizing issues, I'm only going to reload for this barrel and use brass fired from it. So, anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks.

I never heard on Encore and I couldn't find anything on the web about their barrels.

Did they say what chamber pressures they are designed for?
The Encore, made by Thompson Center Arms. It's based on a frame you use with multiple different barrels in chambers/cartridges of your choice. They'll handle any cartridge you'd want to shoot and anything the 5.7 is capable of being loaded up to. Just finding data for it is difficult, most people are loading for the 5/7 pistol or PS90. I'll probably start with some of those and work up. Was just looking for a good starting point if anyone had any load data.

I use 5.0 grains of True Blue with a Hornady 40 gr. V-Max, boat tail bullet. See load data here on page 3:

Deprime using case lubricant, clean cases with Simple Green, trim to proper case length, clean primer pocket, chamfer inside/outside case neck, add powder, seat bullet. Done! I have had 0 problems, nor had any Kabooms with this load data. If you take your time and pay close attention to what you're doing, you should be fine! I shoot this reloaded bullet in the FiveseveN & the PS-90.

I like Thompson. Their modular rifle/pistol concepts make them a very versatile system.
I didn't know that Thompson was making a foray into the 5.7 chambering.

Knowing this, I would assume they are using the same chamber pressure specs as the PS90.

Sorry, I misspoke on this. It's not a TC brand barrel, it's an MGM barrel I'm having made. T/C's are known for easily taking loads to the max and I figure the 5.7 wont have any troubles performing to its limits. 15" and threaded for suppressed shooting. Ought to make a nice short SBR for varmint shooting and be REALLY cheap to reload for.
