Alright I bought this Ammo when I picked my new firearm up from a local FFL. I’ve seen online then tips are supposed to be blue but these are purple and the box was taped closed. Sadly the FFL I used was a pawn shop so not sure if they could help or not. Has anyone else on here encountered this and if so is this ammo safe to use? I have friend who is a reloader and when he gets back to town he is going to inspect them, but he also said I should post on forums to see what others think

Thats SS197SR. Sometimes the dye used in the polymer tips discolors.

Should be fine. Have your friend inspect it if you want.
