Recently purchased a PS90 and was wondering if the 5.7x28mm Otis Cleaning Kit is worth purchasing as well? I have plenty or cleaning gear just wondering if there is anything special in this kit that is needed for a proper cleaning? Its a fairly pricy kit but if my normal gear gets the job done just as good I'll spend the money on more ammo to feed it.

Any opinions/feedback would be great. Thanks for the info.

I use a boresnake as well but also use a 9mm brass brush as a chamber brush just to be on the safe side. Gotta love how easy it is to clean the PS90!

ETA: If you own an FN Five-seveN you can use the brass brush in the included cleaning kit to scrub out the PS90 chamber once in awhile.

I have the 5.7x28mm Otis Cleaning Kit but unless you
have to have a "FN labeled cleaning kit", its not worth the expense.
Just buy a boresnake and some patches.
Its only worth it if you want a cleaning kit with the FN logo on the box and pouch. Also comes with P90 cleaning instructions.
Other than that, its nothing special.

5.7X28 uses .224 diameter projectiles so any 22 cal cleaning items you would use on AR's will work.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think there was a "need" to purchase it but just wanted to make sure.
