Need some help. I was going to purchase a few 50 round mags and I noted that they stated for government or law enforcement use on the side. Since we are able to buy 50 round mags now is there a problem with buying mags that have that statement? Something told me to wait till I got more information.

I've never noticed that on the mags. Must be a new thing. Anyway it's not a problem. Eotechs and other gear say that. I guess it's just so the owner feels cool.

Those must be left over form the Assault Weapons Ban and are perfectly legal to own provided you are allowed to own a high cap mag in your state. :?

I'd say, it sounds like one of the older magazines.
Did the magazine come in a blue/white box or the newer blue/white/black box ones?
