Muzzle Brake

Okay this is my first attempt at a forum so please be gentle.
I talked the other day with a representative from Advanced Armament Co. about mounting my breakout 2.0 compensator to my scar 17s he assured me that I need to remove both the muzzle break and the lock nut and install it using the rocksett and tighten to 40-45 lbs. I didn't ask or hear if he said foot lbs or inch lbs. Please advise.

I've never seen or heard of a scope mount that needed anywhere near 40 ft lbs. Every scope mount I have ever installed was in the 30-50 inch pound range. But I am not familiar with the ACC mount.
All mounts are not created the same

No need to double or tripple post either. You now have the answers to both of your post.

And I thought that the general consensus was that only flash hiders on the SCAR17 and not FH/MB combo. Now with the Breakout 2.0 it might be different but I am still unaware of whether it is a good idea for a MB specifically the Breakout 2.0 on the SCAR17.
Brakeout 2.0 does not need to be timed so it can be installed and run the same as the Blackout flash hider on the 17. Screw it down, rocksett it and forget it, no shims required.

Great, because I just bought two of them. One for my SCAR17 and the other for my A5M XP if I decide to put it on that. Maybe I'll keep it for my Remington 700 AAC SD. Seems silly to me to buy a rifle with a threaded barrel for a suppressor and then have to but an extra piece because the suppressor has no direct threading option. The only downfall on the AAC SDN6 that I have found so far. Gee, I wonder if I can just put the Brake in the Suppressor and then screw it on that way. Whadda ya thinkie???? Baffle strikes on the horizon.....

I have so many FH, Brakes, Combos from AAC that I can fill a small box with them......
DON'T get me started on AAC mounts.........I just ordered another......YES, another $700.00 in mounts, only mounts. :p
