Read a couple articles lately last one that was talking about going around LA County and trying to get a representative sample of the population tested for covid antibodies. The article said they had taken over 15K samples. Went to grocery stores, parks, gas stations, schools, downtown etc. Sounded reasonable.

Results were that about 12-13% had covid antibodies. They also stated a 2-3% likely margin of error for false pos/neg. Which gives an range of 10-15% of the population were exposed to covid. Sounds reasonable I believe regular flu has similar exposure rates.

That being said if you take the lowest rate of 10% and even halve that to 5% to account for rural areas in cali with lower population densities, that still means in Cali alone as many as 2 million people could have been exposed to covid. Again keep in mind the annual exposure rates for regular flu are like 15%

I believe Cali has reported 5K deaths. Plus change. Even with the ridiculous assumption that all reported deaths are legit; 5K divided by 2 mil is about 0.2%

That being said Medicare is paying more for covid patients. Numbers vary by "source and location" however here is a quote found quickly "Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for – if they're Medicare – typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."

Anyone see any incentive to attach "covid" to discharge papers and death certificates?

We are now hitting new highs every day for new cases. Today, 6/30/2020 there was 46,000 new cases. Florida had over 6k and Texas almost 8k new cases today.

The conservatives and Republicans have been played by the left and the Democrats into believing the virus was political. I didn't think they were smart enough to play conservatives and republicans, but they did. Played them like a fiddle.

The ramifications will be felt in November. Enjoy the next few months because times are going to be changing in a major way come 2021, congratulations everyone.
More testing equals more cases. We are just finding out a more accurate accounting of how many people actually HAD the virus and got over it. Some are new cases. The thing to watch is how the Death numbers change. Are the amount of deaths spiking too? NOPE. Most estimates say that 20 million people have had it and not the 2.6 million confirmed cases. so divide the 127,000 inflated death by covid count by 20 million people and you get .635% . HALF of all those came from nursing homes. This is not as bad as the "MEDIA" makes it out to be.

People that test positive for antibodies are listed as being positive corona virus cases. That means that people that never even knew they were sick are being included with the new cases to pad the numbers. At this point, it's nothing but "OMG, we got to burn the whole place down! Wear masks!" I was for reasonable precautions and tended to think the virus was serious several months ago. That patience has long died out after seeing the tyrannical acts governors and politicians have used the virus for.

Thats exactly the point. Anyone who was exposed to and developed anti-bodies for covid IS a covid case. How sick they got is not is not the point. The point is covid is far more wide spread and far less lethal than everyone says. In fact as more time goes on I am simply more and more convinced covid is not much more dangerous if at all more dangerous than regular flu.Just a couple years ago we had a 100K deaths from regular flu and we had a vaccine for it.

Each year in the USA we have about 2,800,000 deaths per year. That is about 8,000 deaths per day. We have a population of about 330 million. I can't wait to see how the 2020 numbers compare to the average. This will be where the tires meet the road.

All this media panic about new cases. The thing to look at is the Death rate. It used to be above 1,000 per day but now it is below 500 per day.
US cases 2839917. Deaths 129676. We only had 239 deaths yesterday and only 486 the day before.

I think It will be very manageable in the fall. The press will still make out that the sky is falling but MOST people will see that the death rate will be down while the # of cases will be up. THEY KEEP COUNTING THE RECOVERED PEOPLE. So the cases will NEVER go down.

According to new reports, humanity is approaching a herd immunity to COVID-19 due to rising recoveries from the virus. However, mainstream media has been ignoring the recovery numbers. One America’s Kristian Rouz finds out why.

7/6/20 48,812 new cases BUT only 271 deaths. Looks like the mortality rate is going way down. It should end up about .6 % and NOT the 6 % that the "experts" warned us about.

As the stats fluctuate, notice what the media reports. If new cases go down, but the death rate goes up, they'll focus on that, and vice versa. Context doesn't matter, only info that fits the narrative.

good news, even though they don't even pretend that people need to have covid-19 to be listed...

7/7/2020 US cases grew by 49896 to a total confirmed 2938625. That is .88% (not even 1%) of the USA population. The Death count rose by 359 to a total of 130306. That is .039% of the US population.

They just announced Lysol does it... "Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist meet the EPA's criteria for use against the SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the ongoing pandemic, based on laboratory testing that found both products kill the virus two minutes after contact, the agency announced in a statement Monday." YEAH !!!! Glad I sold all that ammo in the garage and filled it back up with Lysol... :-D

The COVID-19 mortality rate is just .04% for people under age 70 — which is equal to or lower than the seasonal flu — and the case spike is being driven by younger people contracting the virus on a larger scale.

Top doctor explains why COVID reporting is not honest, reveals what the case spike is really about
'... the death rates are not going up'

Dr. Scott Atlas, the former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, explained Monday why the spike of coronavirus cases across the Sun Belt doesn't tell the full story.

According to Dr. Atlas, who was interviewed on Fox News' "The Story," Americans should be cautious of the media's reporting on the apparent COVID-19 spike because it "doesn't really matter how many cases" there are — what is important is "who gets the cases."

That is because, as Dr. Atlas explained, the COVID-19 mortality rate is just .04% for people under age 70 — which is equal to or lower than the seasonal flu — and the case spike is being driven by younger people contracting the virus on a larger scale.

"The overwhelming majority are younger, healthier people," Dr. Atlas said.

"It only matters if we cannot protect the high-risk people, which we are protecting ... how do I know? Because the death rates are not going up."

"Right now, the cases have been going up for three weeks. We have no increase — in fact, we have a decrease in death rates," Dr. Atlas explained. "You know, it doesn't matter if you get the illness if you're going to fully recover and be fine from it. That is what people must understand. For younger, healthier people, there's not a high risk from this disease at all."

In fact, according to Dr. Atlas, America may be on the path to so-called "herd immunity," which is developed when a large number of healthy people in a population contract the virus and eventually provide protection for more vulnerable and high-risk people.

Later, Dr. Atlas called out how the media is reporting on hospitalizations and the fact that COVID-19 hospitalization data does not distinguish between COVID-positive patients who are hospitalized for reasons unrelated to the virus and patients who are hospitalized due to COVID-related complications.

"When I looked at every single hospital area in Texas today, 15-20% of people in the hospital as inpatients are COVID-positive patients. That means 80-85% have nothing to do with COVID-19. And the same thing goes with some of these other states. There are people hospitalized, a large number, because they are tested as COVID-positive, somehow they are categorized as COVID hospitalizations," Dr. Atlas explained. "That's a problem."

In the end, Dr. Atlas called it "ridiculous" to suggest that reopening policies are responsible for the spike in cases.

Instead, Dr. Atlas attributed the spike to "large protests" at the end of May and through June. "It's not the guy getting his hair cut in the barbershop," he said.

Covid Cases in the USA 3,304,942
Population of USA 331,000,000
That is still under 1% of the population
Covid deaths in the USA 135205
That is 00.040 % of the population
This is under control. Don't be misled and panic.

World cases 12,910,357
world population is 7.8 BILLION ... so that is .165%
World deaths from covid 569,128... so that is .0072%

The world is being played by the puppet masters and most people are sheeple.

Businesses that refuse people without masks are expected to go out of business soon. Businesses that dont care will thrive.

Requiring face masks where citizens need to shop for essential items is reprehensible... This is all about enforcing compliance, not preventing the spread of a contagion, which is only an excuse to control citizens.
