that Robinson Arms XCR folder at the bottom of the page looks interesting. i don't know if i've ever seen it before.

anyone know anything about it?

I have read good things about the XCR, I like the looks of them as well. Another .223 isn't too high on my wish list right now though.

i found a 27 page discussion about the XCR on the sigforum. seems as if the biggest debate is how expensive it is esp. for a smaller, newer company. and, will there be support for this system in 5 years if the company goes under.

for my 223 rifles, i'm staying away from ARs anyway. i'm really not a "builder." i want something that's pretty much good to go out of the box, sights and optics options of course though.

i've got my eye on the 556 but i wouldn't mind fondling the XCR either.

nice looking p2000sk. how do you like the flat mag for it? is it for ccw?

I've looked at the 556's, I'm not quite sold on them yet though. Seems there were a lot of fit and finish issues on the earlier ones. So far, the later ones have been better from what others have reported.

Thanks, yes, the p2000sk is my primary ccw weapon now. I don't have a problem with the flat mag, I was use to shoot my glock 33 which has an even shorter grip.

its my ccw as well, but i had to get the 13 rd. mag with the x-grip adapter. i bit too short for my hand i guess. my wife loves it as her ccw.

Robinson Arms makes great weapons, well the M96 was anyway. They have been around for more than 10 years. I just sold my M96, once they started making the XCR you couldn't get parts or extra barrels for the M96.
