Is other calibers of ammo drying up where U guys are at?

I can still get 9mm and 45 locally. But at several stores - everytime I look, the supply is getting less and less....

Some people on other forums have complained about their Wal-Marts being out of many calibers of WWB - and are supposedly being told that new shipment dates are going to be a while in coming....

See, I went 2 days ago - and they were piled up with 45 and 9mm 100 packs. Yesterday - a lot was missing. Today - they had less than 1/2 of what they had yesterday.

Admittedly, its all panic buying. But, I think the closer we get to inaug day in Jan, the worse it will get.

I'm having to do panic buying too... Not because I think B.O. will change anything nin the 1st week - but because it will just get harder and harder to find crap.

I remember that prior to the 1994 ban went into effect - I could not find ANY hi caps (factory ones). The damn distributors horded them so they could double the price after that magic day. Admittedly, this was before the big days of the Internet taking off commercially.

But, between the panic buyers, and certain places jacking up the prices... I'e been charging stuff I wouldn't normally charge. I just wanna get what I want now and deal with paying it off over time later.

No trouble here. The local gun shop has piles of ammo. Dick's had a sale on 9mm UMC for $7.98 a box (case price). The other local places are more expensive ~ $12 a box of WWB.

ammo is definitely drying up, one online place i buy the majority of my ammo from had five pages of .223/5.56 fmj ammo for sale from several manufacturers before the election. i just checked the other day to see how much they had left as a result of the panic buying and they're down to one page of ammo from two or three manufacturers.:(

Ammo update from SW MO

Just stopped in at my local Wallyworld only to find slim pickings on ammo.

0 rounds of .308 and no idea when they would be getting any

100 rds of .45 ACP $29.97
100 rds of 40 S&W $28.97

bought both and finally found .308 at a pawn shop for $19.95 / 20 bought 2

Walleyworld did say that they had 9mm all day long.

Just some local intel. 8)
