The running amount is between $18 to $25 and some people have bitched how expensive the 5.7x28 is, Guess what-All ammo is expensive right now! But look at this way, your paying $18 for 50rds and those people who complain don't mind paying $18 for 50rds of 9mm or 45ACP.
depends if you buy in bulk as well, i've seen ammo go for $700-800 for 2K rounds (40boxes of 50rounds=1case) which equals $17.50-$20.00/box. Individually i've seen ammo go for up to $27.00 a box at my local gun store.
if you do the math you're getting 5.7x28mm for approximately 35 cents a round if you find it for $17.50 a box thats not bad for factory ammo that is better than plinking ammo.
I have at least 7,000 rounds of 57 ammo. I get it cheap b/c i give the shop alot of business. He doesnt make any money off of the ammo but he does on the guns and i also volunteer there so thats why i get such a good deal. I currently have 11 army .50cal cans full of 57,45,9mm,22lr,12ga ammo, 8mm and 7.62x54.
well, considering i have been collecting guns for only a little over a year, thats not too bad. Ill go in my gun shop again tom to purchase another 5000 rounds too There is a lot of stealing and breakins going on so i just finished my ammo room with 2 guns safes my ammo crates.
