I have been FNP 45 and an FNP 45 tactical and I love them. My question is what is the difference between an FNP 45 and FNX 45 anyone know?

FNX 45's have longer mag dimension (i.e. can accept longer rounds), the feed ramp angle is steeper, which allows for more chamber support. Those were the big changes. Spring strength was also changed IIRC.

Does that mean FNP 45 mags and FNX 45 tactical mags aren't interchangeable?

They may or may not work properly. FNX mags might stick in an FNP 45
