Howdy all!

I just joined the forums, and live in Webster Texas, just south of Houston. I work as a security contractor and just finished up 3 years in Iraq doing PSD. 2 were in Baghdad, 1 in the south at Tallil.

While in Baghdad, I ran across the P90 that was being used by one of the other PSD teams. I think it was the Italians, but not sure. I really liked the looks of it.

I will be buying a PS90 shortly. Might even buy a FiveSeven pistol too, but would like to test fire one first. If anyone in Houston wants to go to a range, I am a member of the PSC range in Friendswood. It is a great private range.

I am taking a few months off to relax, but I also work for MAST Solutions as one of their firearm instructors, and close protection specialist. If you are interested in tactical training, MAST is one of the best here.

I am also a former Army Ranger (2nd Bn.), and an instructor in the CAR system of shooting (center axis relock).

As for pistols, I use a Glock 17 since that is what we were issued in Iraq. I love the pistol because it never failed me. Guns that don't jam are a big plus in my book.

Thats about it. Been reading the forums trying to sort out all the aspects of the PS90 before I buy one. Probably will settle on a green tri rail and put a micro aimpoint on it. I still have my EOTECH that has been used and abused for the past 3 years. It too never failed to work.

Thats it!

Ah, the beast is Coos, which is Arabic for a certian part of a girl's anatomy. We once got a large shipment of beanie babies from the States. People back home collected them up to give out to Iraqi children. It builds good will between us and the locals, who normally think we are Jews working for the CIA!

Our gunship (trail vehicle) had gunports and the rear gunner would throw the toys out the window. I kept this one for good luck and she saved my butt more than a few times. She was finally lost in action a few months ago.

Ship, I might take you up on that. Love to see your PS90 also, and I promise I won't scratch it. I come bring up some AKs to shoot as well. Heck, I will give you all the private lessons in return for a beer or two, IF you need training :)

haha, ok. PM me when U get a chance.

I used to go to the range every other week - but now that we have a son (10 weeks old yesterday), I had to make a deal with my wife. In order to get a "gun allowance" for more guns, I get a certain amt of cash a month and I only go to the range 1x a month now.

Geeze... never marry an Asian woman - they nickel and dime ya to death :x

I slipped out for a 2nd trip to the range with my Five Seven earlier this month, and she noticed the charge on the ATM card  So, there went September's trip

Anyway, we'll work something out in the netx 2-3 months if ya like.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum thank you for your service!

I live over in Katy Texas. I would offer to let you shoot my PS90 but it is getting coated right now. I hope to have it back soon though.

I'm here in League City

Just fired my PS90 for the first time this past weekend. I'm here in League City. The accuracy is amazing straight out of the box with no adjustments although my grouping was about 3 or 4 inches below the bullseye from about 30 yards.

Finding ammo is a real drag. I bought a box of the blue tips for about $19 at the gun show at Reliant Center a few weeks back. Now I'm seeing prices of $25 a box.

I also installed the $4 replacement block to extend to 50 round mag. It works beautifully.
