I'm strongly leaning towards aimpoint sights.

I tried some out this week and wanted to see if there were any others that had gone the aimpoint route and were happy.

also, what model did you buy(if so)?

I recently put a CompM2 on my TR. It sits at the right height and overall I'm very happy. I bought it online from an authorized dealer, paid about $375 shipped, with a neoprene scopecoat and cheap cleaning kit.
Unlike an Eotech, the mount is seperate. I recommend the ARMS mount, it'll run you about $100 with shipping.

If you order online, order from someone you trust. There are a lot of knock off's being sold as the real thing and a lot of them are crap.

Aimpoint CompM4 for my PS90's. Nearly went w/the Trosusa/ML3 setup but for my needs I much prefer the AA battery the CompM4 uses (8yrs of 24/7 use and all my other gear uses AA batteries).

thought about the EOTech

I've got a TR myself and bought an EOTech with it...

I think it sits flush against the rail due to the design a bit better.

I also have an Aimpoint i took off one of my other guns and tried it... the EOTech went back on after about 500 rounds...

I like the Aimpoint but i do think the EOTech is better on the PS90

I have an Eotech on an AR15 for work and like it. I went the Aimpoint route for an SBR PS90 for work. I bought a Comp3 and have a TROS mount on order.

For a duty SBR, in my opinion, a standard PS90 with iron sights for backup and a low profile TROS mount with an Aimpoint is the best combo for that weapon.

I love my Eotech, but in this firearm as an SBR, I like the simplicity of a simple red dot. The TROS mount seals the deal bringing the sight closer to the barrel.

I agree w/the simplicity of a single red dot, and the lower the better on the PS90. If TROS made a lowmount for the CompM4 I would seriously consider that setup (in fact I've already emailed them about it and they have no plans at this time to make a CompM4 mount, shucks and other comments...)

That's part of why I ask, and first off, THANKS FOR THE GREAT RESPONSES!!

This gun is a bit of a challenge when it comes to mounting the sites, it just gets that much more personal as there really is no one attachment that owns the market. Lots of good options.

The mount may not be such a big deal, lucky for me, I have a big head and I was surprised that there is a good range of aimpoint products being put on the PS90. And yeah, I like the simplicity of the red dot as well.

Tomac,
what kind of mount did you use?
I used the MagazineParts.com optics rail. The groove down the center was perfect for adding my own fiber optic BUIS since w/my aging eyes I find the factory BUIS unusable. Now I just place the blurry green dot on top of the blurry red dot and I can bounce coke bottles at 50yds.

Will the Comp M4 and a magnifier both fit on the triple rail?
I don't have a magnifier so I can't really answer that. How much rail does the magnifier need and how much eye relief?

I don't have an exact measurement, but the picture below is a good depiction of the magnifier and a Comp M2. Do you guys think the PS 90 TR will fit the combo?

Based upon your pic and using a cantilever mount it looks like you need about 5+" of rail estate to get both to fit. The MagazineParts optics rail I use is just under 6" long so it *should* fit but I can't swear to it. I don't know how long the rail is on the TR but if it's 6+" then that setup should be doable. HTH...

I'm actually in Malmo, Sweden and drove by Aimpoint's Malmo office last night.

Unfortunately, you can forget any sweetheart deals on this product(in case you were wondering). My thoughts were I could buy directly here in Sweden or get a better deal locally, but they don't sell to the public even here in Sweden and the store they recommended only carried one product.

So, if anyone has any recommendation on places to buy online, I'm all ears.

Some of our sponsors sell AImpoint products - not sure if they can/will ship to Sweden. Our country has some laws about shipping some electronics out of th country.
