Just got an SPR A3 last year, what a great rifle. I am relatively new to reloading but have made some 168gr GMM clone hand loads that shot well out of my rifle, now i am looking into building a specific load for my rifle, i was wondering if anyone has one they'd be willing to share as a good starting point for me?

probably going to be using 168/175 smk's, re15, 4064, or varget, BR2 primers.

thanks in advance.

I'm shooting a 20" SPR A5m, so this may not work that great in your rifle. I had been using FGMM brass (once fired through my rifle), neck sizing. I'm using 168 gr SMK's over BR2 primer and 43.0 gr of IMR 4064 (which I'm now out of, so I need to work up a load for Benchmark, which I have a few pounds of).

Your A3g should have a 24" barrel. I'd probably start with 42 gr and work up to 43.3 or so (which is where I started to notice a little bit of a sticky bolt knob, which indicated it was getting a little hot, but no flattened primer's)
