Has anyone used this before how does it perform?

Hows it compare to SS190?

How much Ballistic Gel will it penetrate out of a PS90?

Does it yaw as early as SS190, SS192, and SS195LF?

Is it as effective as SS190, and SS195LF?

Does it have SS190's petetration capabilities?

Does it use the SS195LFs primer, or is a new one used?

Would this make a good defense load?

You must be thinking of the other forum abpt1 because discussion of restricted ammo is not against forum rules(I just checked)..
IIRC discussion of restricted ammo is fine except for discussion of how to procure it.
Since I'm sure there are many LEO here, I would assume they would like to know about the restricted ammo as well.

The minute we start stopping and lock threads that have the numbers "190" in them is the day we become the other forum and start using the "SEARCH FUNCTION". :x

No not a brady, I'm as far from that as one can possibly be. I'm just looking for an alternative to SS195LF, I like everything I'm seeing about the PS90, I like how it feels, and handles, and I'm picking mine up tommorow, I'm considering even useing it for a home defense wepon as well, but I'm a bit dissatisfied with the reports I have read here and elsewhere about the gel tests for the ammo thats readily available. The best I see available is SS195LF, it has the lethality of the origional SS190 (Much better than the SS196, or SS197), but it doesn't have enough power, most of the gel tests I've seen have it only penetrateing out of a PS90 to about 10 inches, I want at least 12 idealy. I'm just wondering if this stuff that wildeye111 makes will penetrate to 12 inches, and if it has the lethality of SS195LF, and SS190, it's unlikely that the bad guy will be wearing a vest, but it would be nice to be able to pierce it if he was. SS195LF is fine for plinking, and if given no other option is OK for defense (although the shot would have to be more perfect than normal), but it will take alot of convinceing to displace my SAR-1 as my primary HD weapon, though I am officialy in love with the PS90, and it just might anyway but I sure would like to no if there is a better option available before I go out, and buy a bunch of SS195LF.

Or have I heard incorrectly about SS195LF, just how much Ballistics Gel will it penetrate?

All those reasons are fine, and understandable. But, there is one topic we stay off of, so we don't start a breeding ground for armor piercing ammo seekers. So, that's one topic we (our site) do not discuss here so we don't become a target for the antis.

You should PM Wildeye111 if you have any questions about the ammo he sells.

As for the 2 commercial rounds - I am satisfied with their performance to use them for self defense.

I reading on teh five seven forum a thread where small arms collector asked a big paragraph that had all kinds of questions alunding to making the PS90 full auto and armore piercing ammo and how to make it and buy it. i don't see tqtran complaining when he posts on the orher forum about btown. i don't see what the bid deal is they have rules and follow them. i've been reading here and there isnt just any real discussion of substance. the reloading section is a joke as are most of the threads. 80% of the postings are from one guy, and it seems like there are just 5 or 6 guys patting eachother on the back for being 'more tolerant' that 'the other forum' whatever that means.

given all the questions that small arms collector has been asking here and elsewhere i find it very suspicious. i'll see if i cant find his posting on five seven forum and copy it here.

Well, sorry you feel that way - we are a fairly new forum and are growing - we recently expanded from the PS90 Forum to an all Fn Forum - so, things take time. If you think we are a joke, no one is forcing you to stay.

no megabeers justr mega bad grammer cant form a proper sentence wasnt complaining about here but the five seven forums reloading section although this one worse by far. there are a lot of blokes just patting eachother on the back on both places. i was trying in my poor way to say that some of what small arms collector was asking here was mighty suspiscious because of what i read on five seven and that tqtran was out of line a little with his beligeratn attitude. dont mean any offense im just a dombold high school dropout from the UK who emigrated and works in a pork prosessing plant. but you have to admit htat in both places there are just a few blokes patting eachother on the back pretenting to be master of the univerce.

anyway not trying to offend i just have bad grammer and cant put what i want to paper very well thats problably why i work the 2nd shift and dont have a wife or kids just a few guns and lots of megabeers when i get home. someday ill probably get fat enough i wont be able to find my satellite remote for the tele and will die of boredom when i cant watch manchester football or a good game of cricket. until then i probably will just bother the world until someone runs me over with their hibred toyota or chokes me to death with tofoo bangers and whirlies.

Hey I know I have not got in to the 5.7 reloading like i posted i would but i am on call 24/7 also have two kids ect..... I have been loading other rounds latly in my extra time.... plus the main reasion i have not been on top of reloading the 5.7 is because i hate to use a single stage press I have been waiting for a shell plate for my dillon 550b.....this site is very new and i have only had my FN's for less than a year..........please bare with us on this good things come to those who wait ......BTW welcome Mate! so have a pint and a *** ......its getting better every day............no need to get knotted !

I made no such allusions, I am curios how things work, since the difference is in the tigger (hammer?) pack I am thinking along the lines of an HK type desighn where the difference in the trigger pack, but since there interchangeable they must attach differantly, I was merely curiouse how the modification was done in this case to placate the BATF, because given the way it actually fits in I just couldn't think of an easy way, but take it out of context and over react all you want.

So does anyone here actually have any first hand experience with this ammo or not?
