Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm seriously considering purchasing the FS2000, but have to sell some stuff first. For you owners of the gun, what is the barrel twist of this rifle? I was wondering how it would do with Hornady's 75gr TAP ammo.

I found this about the weapon:

The FS2000 is equipped with a 17.4-inch barrel with a permanently attached flash suppressor and 1/7 right hand twist rifling; the bayonet lug was not included on the FS2000 carbines.
so, 1/7

I use Black Hills 77gr moly coated in mine and they shoot great. From a stabilization standpoint the 1x7 twist (ShipWreck is correct) should be perfect for a 75gr bullet.

Yeah, I was slightly bummed that it came with a 1/7 twist, as I like to be able to use any kind of 5.56, even old 55-grain milsurp. Sure, it'll shoot it, but it's not ideal, and the 55-grain stuff is by far the cheapest. A 1/9 twist would have been perfect for my needs!

(It's still an awesome rifle, though!)
