Thanks, Kev! I went with the 7.62 CMR-W reticle. I just got it mounted late last night and can't wait to get that thing out on the range!

If you have an AR10 that works, you have the ONLY one that works...

It's no secret: there hasn't been a ton of success in the "AR-10" commercial offerings. That being said, Ive never known/read/heard of any dissatisfied SR-25 customers. Same goes with LaRue's offerings and for the most part LMT's .308. I would also assume Colt's 901 would be a safe bet.

Not to doubt the SR25, but if you paid that much for a rifle do you think you would tell folks you didn't like it or would you justify liking it due to the cost? The latter is what people tend to do, from a psychological perspective.

I know, I know, lots of people think he's a douche bag, but have you (has anyone) watched the videos Yeager did on the DPMS g2? Kinda makes me want to get one, not to replace the SCAR, but maybe I could find an excuse for it.

I understand what you're saying. If I don't like something I have no problem calling it what it is. I had a POF-415 I wasn't crazy about. $1950 for an AR-15 and I'm perfectly comfortable saying that I didn't care for it, lol! For me this was a no brainer decision. It's a gun I've wanted since I started shooting. The only thing that would make me NOT like it is if I have issues with the gun that KAC will not fix... I don't see that being an issue.

Nope I haven't seen his videos. I do have a buddy that owns and loves his DPMS REPR. I'm not a fan of short handguards which ruled out most AR-10's for me right away. At that price point I think i'd be leaning towards the Colt 901(short handguad) or the LMT 308. Simply because they both have received very good customer reviews. I also like the LaRue .308 but I didn't feel like waiting 3 years for my gun!
