On Glocktalk, I have seen several people complaining about the Glock version of the lasermax - holstering the gun (with certain holsters) tends to turn the unit on.

Anyone having this issue with the Beretta guiderod version? I want to get a Kydex Bladetech holster, and I want to make sure this does not happen.

I have only see that problem with Glocks because their take down lever(also Lasermax's activation switch) is so close to the front and sticks out a bit on with sides.
I can't see that being a problem with a Beretta version...

I would say it's just a Glock thing off hand. I don't carry my G17. It's a bedside home defense piece. I think the LaserMax is great on a Glock. I like the activation switch just as it is. But I agree that in a holster it could activate unintentionally. How is the LaserMax activated on the Beretta?

There is a button on bothsides of the takedown lever on the 92 - You replace it with the lasermax piece
