See, that list assumes you spend under $500. They didn't even have the FN Hi Power on there at all, just the charles daly version.

I'd be more interested to see a list of under $1000 to include the other common pistols, such as Sig and HK. I would think that $1000 would let out most limited production or custom built pistols.

I concur. These gun rags all review pistols like the Ed Brown special forces; a $2k pistol, all kinds of HKs, Kimbers, etc. A whole lot of people carry pisols that are sometimes in well excess of $500. I've noticed a great deal of people on these boards carry pistols in the $600-$900 range, which is the same people that will be reading these sorts of lists.
