I am going to get a gun to just keep in the box, and was going to either get an FN PS90 (tri rail) or the same Robarms XCR that I have. Eventually I want to get a second of both (one to keep, one to sell), but what else is out there for this price range? I figure I have a two year time line and would like to pick up 4 more guns, all in this price range.

Well, Beretta is coming out with the new RX4. Keltec is coming out with a Bullpup 223 rifle. And Sig has their new 556.

I think that the PS90 may have a problem if there is ever another magazine ban. With a 50 rd magazine, it will be the first to be effected.

I won't own a SIG 556. They are the crappiest feeling guns I have ever felt (ASIDE from the trigger which is not only the 1 thing the gun has going for it, but it's the nicest trigger yet). Straight up, I HATE that gun. Not only would I not own it, but I wouldn't EVER try selling it :lol: I'm not a fan of Keltec, and I don't like the majority of beretta's. Where is Keltec made? I am thinking that imported guns (which means the ps90 over the XCR) will obviously be worth more. I also wouldn't mind a FAL knockoff, or a "top shelf" AK. :?:

The FAL is just simply out of my price range, otherwise I would buy one to KEEP, not as an investment. I want one of them as much as the windrunner .50 bmg. The arsenal AK (or other AK's such as VEPR) are a definite possibility. I am also considering the Atlantic Firearms PTR right now (it's now up with the XCR and PS90). I AM going to buy one, I just can't decide which one. There are really so many choices that I think that an imported gun is just going to be the best choice. I want variety, but at the same time, I want duplicates over the next couple of years. If I wouldn't personally want the gun, I don't want it.

Keltec is made in the US - I forget where. They are gaining more respect lately, and from what I have heard, their new bullpup should be a hit. I personally don't care for the look of it, though.

Some guys here have bought multiple PS90s for investment (only shooting the first one)

IIRC Keltecs are made in Florida. They're pretty crappy from what I've read. They have the reputation of using paying customers as beta testers. :lol:

Their new bullpup is overpriced IMO and a lot of people agree. If people aren't willing to pay HK prices for Keltec pistols why should they pay high prices for their bullpups? :?

Sorry to jack your thread Steve but why do you only have two years to buy a few guns :?: If your concerned that they will be banned maybe you should take a few minutes, call and write your state reps to make sure you can buy as many toys as you want and stop them from being banned......

I already did, so it would just be a repetitive motion. I suppose that I could continuously print and mail it every day just to annoy them. I also spoke to the newly elected rep. for my county when he knocked on my door (introducing himself to the neighborhood). He wouldn't give me a clear cut answer even on his position, and his helper girl escorted him away kindly saying bye.

Look at the "Presidential" hopefuls. It's going to happen come 08/09 regardless of how many letters we right. It sucks and I'm not saying to anyone else to stop writing, but it's the awful reality.

I just got done typing my county rep an email. I never got replies back when sent in the mail, so we will see what he says. Happy now?
