I'm looking for what's in the title. Are these out there on the market? I've seen quite a few green models with the USG sights on the popular auctions sites for around 1700, but can't seem to find black.

Just wanting to get confirmation on thier existance. I hope this isnt like my search for a Stainless lever-action .22LR...

Thanks guys!

Fun fact about that version. Its a plastic sight just like the standard model. The after market USS sight is alluminum however. That might help you decide if you want to get a PS90 now and buy the metal optic or wait for the USG version.

That is interesting. Is that standard on both the Black and green models? I've read that the green USG comes with an alum sight (may have been a special case).

bonebreak2000 : You are incorrect. Go to a dealer that has a USG model PS90 and you will see that its an aluminum sight, not plastic.
Of if you want the "truth from horse's mounth" contact Bob from FNH USA or Ringsight in UK.

Both the Green and Black USG(USSS Sight) has an aluminum sight.
The "aftermarket" sight is the exact same sight on the USG version.

come on. Not the whole "contact Bob" thing!

I gets to me because for some people "contact Bob" is the answer to everything. I don't think it's a big surprise that FN has a customer service rep, and dropping his name is no more constructive than saying "ask the manufacturer", except it makes it sound like you are totally in the know.

Its just not cool to me because I've seen it used so often when a person has absolutely nothing to add to the conversation, that wasn't the case here, but still.

yeah, the USG sight is aluminum. Of course you can dye a green stock black. It's a pretty easy project.

Or you could trade stocks with someone who prefers green, or was planning on painting their black stock. I'll trade a real black for a green.

Chill out guys. I gave THREE options if you read carefully.

If you so chose to contact Bob then so be it.
But there were too other options you could do if you wanted to prove me wrong.

Other options if you look at my previous thread were:

Check out a local dealer that has a PS90 USG
Contact Ringsight (aka NOT Bob)

I don't have a local shop that has the USG version. The info I posted here came directly from an FN dealer who was trying to sell me the USG model so I doubt he made it up. I havent verified either claim though directly with FN myself. I am still holding out on this SBR deal to go trhough but if it falls apart I will look more into it as the USG version is still on the table if I buy new.
