It's the Handl extension. Once I get a S.E.A.L and E.A.C.H installed, I think I'll have the package that I've been wanting for some time now. Of course then there's deciding on a long range optic for when needed......I'm afraid there's no chance me of ever being "finished" with this one. :icon_lol:

I was looking to go as light as possible, so it was a good candidate; it seems quite well made. The install was a little time consuming, but have a pretty good feeling that it'll be a keeper. I'll be heading to the range in the next day or so to wring the sucker out, so we'll see.

Nice gun. You will like the SEAL and the EACH. I have one on my 17s and an EACH on both the 16 and 17. I ended up going with the KDG MREX for my 16s. The rifle is never "done" as there is always something new i want to try.

Sweet setup. I was looking at the Voltor rail extensions but this..... Does it mount directly to the outside of the receiver like the Voltor rail (which the set screws screw directly on the the outside of the receiver, marring the finish where the screws are attached) or another means like all the other rails?

Actually it's only attached to the receiver via the two screws at 2 and 10 on the upper receiver end block. This makes removing the barrel quite easy. The primary con so far for me is the fact that the pricing is kinda crazy for an extension. It's manufactured by Lancer if I'm not mistaken, and compared to their other models, it seems over priced imho.

No comment on that, but I do know that I thought I could afford it....my wife disagrees. So one thing I've recently learned - FDE SCARs piss off the wife!
