I came across a brand new never fired OD FS2000 for $2,000. I've always wanted to pick one up and when this deal came across I got very interested. It has a serial number in the 89,2XX range. Is it a good buy or overpriced?
Brand New in the Box FS2000 for $2,000 good price?

It's a lot cheaper than mine when I got it new...and that was back when they roamed the earth in much greater numbers. But I'm impatient and kind of a sucker. The clerk sensed that and took full advantage of it.
Yup, a fair/good price for one these days. When FN was importing them. They were $1600-1800 or so new (not really counting the cheaper ones that came in all at once using overrun parts, though they were just as good). But with them not having importing them in several years. And may never again in great numbers or at all. They're bound to cost more. I say if you have the cash and you want the gun. Buy it.
Thanks guys I'm trying to get him to go down to $1800 on it but if he wont I will bite on it for the $2,000. Thanks a lot for the help and I should have some pics of my new tuna up soon.
And the FS is no longer made, so it's not going down in value.
