[Buffman]

This guy started life as an 870 Express from Gray Thursday at Dicks. Got a 20 some inch vent rib barrel. Once I received the stamp, I had our tool room cut the barrel to 12". Sent it to Rose Action Sports, and they threaded the barrel for chokes, and installed the meprolight front bead. I installed a Mesa Tactical 1913 rail, and side saddle. Polished up the chamber, and added a chamfer to the edge of the barrel to help with feeding. Found a factory certified Cerakoter in the area, and went with the semi-gloss brunt bronze.

That's cool... nice job . May be a dumb question but... how is the " kick " any different with the shortened barrel ?
Like the Logo on the stock.... sweet ! I had my platinum colored " outlawed " GSG-.22 done in Burnt bronze & Coyote tan to match the scar a few years back.
Nice ensemble.... as a side note I have something for you to try down the road.

That was my intention for the threaded choke Although I should see if someone locally has the adapter for the Salvo to make sure the can will clear the front cap.

Thought of doing this for my REMI 870 the Bronze or maybe a green tone. I think I'm going to stipple the Magpul fore end pretty aggressively. I found out when shooting federal slugs, I have some trouble keeping hold of the fore end. (of course slugs out of and 18.5" barrel are beastly) What are your experiences with this so far?

I'm hoping to shoot it soon. Most of my shooting is done on the weekends, and I'm booked with other items May have to go out during the week, it's bugging me that I haven't shot it yet.
