Anybody use this case? Was wondering if you can remove some of the foam for the scope?

I have the case, and I used my pocket knife to cut out some foam for a flashlight in the foregrip and my reddot.

Does it actually have padding to protect the sides of the gun?
It protects my gun just fine, but there is no padding on the 'top' or 'bottom' of the case, there's just a soft (lightly coushined) lining.

I would neither recommend nor say don't get the case. It's an alright case, and it serves my purposes well enough. But... it's definitely got its downsides.

If its just for taking to the range and back, the thin side padding will do.
Its basically composed of hard plastic walls, soft cloth padding, foam, and nylon shell.
The foam inside is also taller than other cases so you can't really switch it out or reuse it in another case.

For the price (I think I paid like $50 for mine) its not bad for what it is.
I don't know what they are going for now but if its much more, toward $100, I'd pass on it.
