These all have been around a while and I watched vids and handled a slidefire stock at show and thought it was flimsy and cheap and way to expensive!

Seems most work well but the best 1 seems to be the bumpski at $450. but it is aluminum instead of plastic, what I am wondering is how hard is it to stay on target using one?

Most reports say they are mainly a novelty and fun to fool/play with but really not for a SHTF scenario, I saw the bumpfire for $99. on sale and wonder if it is worth it?

Thank's

PS. Read the old 7 page thread and it really is not very informative but more a joke since many were/are worried about them getting banned!

Handled one for the ak, buddy had one due to ammo cost. Seemed like it was more accurate than regular ak on FA. Maybe due to the foward pull hold. Was kinda cool, but with ammo as expensive as it had been, I'd only use the ak one with cheap commie ammo. Wouldn't be worth it as high as ar ammo has got.

The stocks are nothing more than a smile factory in my opinion. I had the AK one and sold it during the ammo scare of 2012. It was probably the most fun I have ever had with an AK. I just ordered a 100$ SF solutions AR one that I plan on spraying Wolf steel ammo with. That crap is like .22 a round and wouldn't make me cry shooting it. It's just fun. Plain and simple. As far as the level of control you get - that is dependent entirely upon you and your ability to hold the weapon steady while successfully manipulating the thing. I would t have one on my go to rifle. I will thow it on a cheapo build. It is in all senses of the word a waste of ammo :-D!

Well here goes nothing... I like mine , I have a slidefire & taccon set up. It doesn't fail to disappoint. I have spent untold amounts of $$$ on ammo dumps.
Run it on a Colt 6920 w/ milspec parts . Best to keep the weapon clean, have good mags, good ammo, at least from my experience. There is some technique involved especially if using just the Slide Fire stock.

Have had several issues over the years such as pin walk, light primer strikes, jams.... however after running the gamut of things that could go wrong... it is pretty smooth running .
Short bursts works well for holding on target, and I have had alot of fun with mine.

Thank 's everybody!
I just wondered since over the yrs. I bought several trigger devises like Hellfire etc and despite all the vids at the shows showing them at a rate firing as fast as almost F Auto, I never was able to do it and all are more pain than there worth!

I think the best looking 1 is the bumpski but at $450 I just don't know, but the AR Bumpfire is now $99. since they are being sued by slidefire!

I have a slidefire, didn't work well my MP15-22, but its awesome on a regular AR. Surprisingly easy to control.

I have tuned mine to work great on my 15-22 I will have to take some Video.. You Have to put a light trigger in it and keep it clean.. 40gr ammo runs better.. I have a 1.5lb trigger and I keep the gun very light.. It even runs with Big Dog Machine 50rd drums..

I would love to have a set up like that...I believe there is a special kit available. Especially to run tracer 22 through it... However My tracer experiences have been so/so.
