Hey Guys

I'm an Arms Dealer in NZ and have just ordered my first SCAR 25.

...the only issue I have holding up my dream build is apparently nobody can ship me a suppressor out of the United States due to their extreme restrictions on exporting. (WTF !)

Now, owning suppressors here in NZ is totally legit and we can buy anything off the shelf with no drama...only the one I want isn't available here.

If anyone on list can assist me in procuring an AAC SDN6 7.62 suppressor for a SCAR17S H FDE I would be fully impressed and extremely grateful TIA just email me.

Try Silencer Shop they are a supporting vendor on the forum and probably your best bet, Jeramy is extremely helpful, they are a top notch bunch.

I have no problem finding a supplier...its just finding a supplier or "someone" that is willing to ship it out of the U.S. to New Zealand that I'm having difficulty with ?

Unfortunately, the US has export restrictions on just about everything firearm related. It's midnight Central time where I am, so I figure somebody more knowledgable will chime in tomorrow. Jeremy is your best bet, he will know the NFA stuff better than most.

ITAR. 22CFR Part 121, Category I (e)..".silencers, mufflers, sound and flash suppressors..." and as such are export controlled.
ITAR restricted you wont be able to get a US made supressor in a different country

AAC SDN-6 wobbles. You may get lucky and get a perfect match can with the perfect match AAC T51 mount, but I doubt it. I called AAC for mine and Nick from their tech support (1 of 2 guys right now) said it is supposed to wobble... Yeah right. For what its worth, the Silencerco 51T MAAD mount is a better mount and locks on solid to a AAC T51 mount. But you need a Saker.

Anyways, I thought you may want to know this before/if you can legally manage to get a SDN-6 across the world.

No offense, Serenity, but I doubt you'll find a US Citizen willing to go through the 6 month wait, have the suppressor registered to them as an NFA item, then export it to you "illegally", then tell BATFE that "I know longer own it, but I can't tell you why".
