Can you buy just the action for the FN SPR?

I would like to buy just the action. Where can you get one?

CDNN used to have a bunch. There might be some floating around on gunbroker every now and then.

Is the FN SPR action made by FN? Or is it a Winchester action or some other?

Winchester Model 70 pre 64 style which has the claw extractor. Winchester and Browning are subsidiaries of FN (Herstal Group Belgium) as is FNHUSA.

The actions at CDNN sold out around 8 years ago. They purchased what remained of Winchester's inventory after they shut down the New Haven plant. I bought two at $300 ea and wish I'd bought a few more. As mentioned earlier, they do pop up on GB every now and then.
