If you have a FNAR, could you please tell what is stamped on the side of the barrel, .308 or 7.62? FN will say .308(7.62), but from what I have seen on the net there is a big difference in the pressures that these two chambers can handle and that they are not the same.

Disregard your efforts. I just bought one. It is chambered 7.62 x 51.
