I was discussing with a friend which ammo he uses in his 9mm concealed carry (glock 260). He said he uses Speer Gold Dot since that is what local police use and it wouldn't cause problems if he actually had to use his weapon (ie he wouldn't be sued for using 'the most deadly ammo' etc). Is there any truth to this? I have Hydra-Shok and Cor-Bon loaded in my pistols, would these "get me into trouble"? Is there any legal precedent out there? Looking for opinions and any info on rulings, etc.
