:? I mentioned this before, but I am really amazed at how clean the FS shoots.
I was at the range qualifying people (LEO) and brought along my FS for fun after work. I have used only new Winchester ball thru it. Well, I shot a whole lot and all the guys had to try it...by shut down time it had another couple of hundred rounds thru it.

That evening I was not looking forward to cleaning it.....to my surprise...nothing in the action was dirty, the bolt lock up and chamber area looked clean and I used a few Qtips in that area and got almost no carbon and the barrel looked clean inside....when I ran a patch thru it I got very little residue.

I can only attribute this to 1) the ammo and 2) the design and operation of the rifle. The m16's we use are as always filthy after a 30 round mag...using the same issue ammo.

Any comments???????

well, obviously the different type of action will reduce fouling, but you cant really compare them directly as it is rather unfair. (and the Winchester Ball is pretty nice & clean ammo to begin with)

anyhow, no one should be amazed that the FS2000 runs far cleaner.
