Hi Everybody,

I just bought a FNP-9 from Mr. Tanner on gunbroker.com. For $350 I had to try it especially after reading all the positive feedback on this site. To say the very least I am impressed.

My question is, what do I need to re-oil in the receiver? The manual is pretty vague and my only other experience is with Glocks. I hit all the normal spots on the slide (barrel, barrel lug, slide rails, and where the slide makes contact with the barrel). I don't want to oil something I shouldn't and more importantly I do not want to neglect an important part in the receiver.

Thanks for the help.

Thank you. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting something.

Lube the same places - I use synthetic oil on the fine parts, and a high quality slide grease on the heavy load bearing parts like slide rails, slide, guide rod, and barrel. I apply the slide grease thinly with a q-tip - it dont take much.
