Do the current 16s 5.56 bolts have 6 lugs or 7?

6. the 17s uses 7 now.

Supposedly one reason for the change was to easily visibly separate the 16s and 17s bolts.

yeah, nothing to see on the 16s for new bolt.

About the only thing I can think to check re: bolt would be that the previous owner hadn't used unmodified pmags... but even then that wouldn't stop me from buying unless the wear was abnormally outrageous.

Thanks again, Performify! I had previously read those posts. Good to know. I did not see any unusual wear on the bolt, carrier or bolt catch.
