So I am hearing some chatter on the ole interweb that the cz scorpion may be making a civilian legal debut. What do you guys think of cz and this rifle in particular?

They do use a Skorpion but it is the CZ Vz. 61 E Skorpion. The one the rumors are about are the CZ Scorpion Evo3. If it does come to our shores I'm going to get one for sure.

That thing would probably look funky with a 16" barrel... definitely an SBR project for sure.

It is a really cool little subgun they go for about $600 in the non SBR configuration. You can just add a stock to it with a tax stamp. They used to be fairly common but are drying up now. I have a parts kit so I'll built it up eventually, I think I mentioned before that I'm a huge subgun fan. The new Scorpion (different spelling) isn't available in the states under normal channels. I think there are some in the South American country's but not for sure. Here is a side by side and you can see why people are interested.

Thanks for the info and I am also a huge sub gun fan. I am interested in the mpx also if they ever come out with it though I feel it is over priced.

I like my original vz. 61 Skorpion. It's in pistol configuration for now.
But yes, I want and will buy a Scorpion Evo 3 when the come.
I've seen rumblings the the Evo 3 and the new Czech service rifle, the 805/807 Bren are coming in first as pistols. Not sure what they look like.

I have been reading on the net today that the Evo's are dropping in January and MSRP is $850!!!! And 30 round mags will be $20 and under. Colion Noir(or however you spell it) has a sweet Youtube video of it(and announces the prices). Sorry on iPad so I don't want to go through the zillion steps to link it, lol.
