Joined the Forum a couple days ago after visiting numerous times. Some good info here. I have a question that I have searched the Forum without an answer that satisfies me. Maybe one of the members can direct me to a relevant post. I have a FS2000 (Tuna) and have tried to extricate the trigger rod with no success. Would like to polish the rod to lessen the trigger pull. I have crossed it in the rear as many have posted but it just will not come out. Is there a trick to this?

Hopefully next election we will vote out Hickenlooper (he's from PA BTW) and get some sensible leadership in the great State of Colorado!

Welcome! Hopefully soon I will have an FS2000 as well. I can't be of help here, but I wish you luck with ridding the State of Colorado of Hickenlooper (and of course figuring out how to get that rod out).

Hello and welcome!

I don't have a Tuna (yet), but hopefully HK's link will give you a direct answer to your trigger rod question.
Its loaded with tons of Tuna info and should have a fix or procedure to get you all fixed up.
If not, feel free to ask in that subforum. Somebody will have an answer.

Oh yes, the trigger rod can me a little tough to get out - it was harder to get back in if I recall. But it is doable with out splitting the halfs....
I think you will like this rifle...
