I have an RMR but I'm looking to get a 2nd red dot and would like to know which is more durable...Deltapoint or Fastfire? Might use it as a backup sight on a 300wm which is why I concerned with the durability. Thanks!
I've got a FF I've used on my AK47 and it's never skipped a beat. I also have an RMR equipped glock that within the first 500rds fried the electronics board.
The RMR was fixed under warranty, but for the price, the FF has worked really well for me.
The Fast fire held up to being pounded by the recoil on the scar 17 for close to a year. Its a good sight in my opinion. I just didn't like having to turn it on and off. That can be gotten over for the price though.
Thanks guys! I decided to go with the 3 MOA Fastfire III because it was cheap and it was easy to find a low profile 34mm ring mount so I can mount it on my rifle like the pic below.
