They list the Serpa Level 3 Tactical Holster (430617BK-R) as working for the P30. I suppose I could try it. Wonder if I could find somewhere to test one out. I dont wanna spend $50 and find out it dont work.

I bought one of the Serpas for the P30 a few years ago and it works really well for my FNX-40. It looks like they have changed what they offer now, so I'm not sure about the newer models.

I guess a lot of people have complained about "My finger on the trigger when I draw from it" but I have never had that problem, mine always ends up right on the slide.

The Serpa is best used safely by pressing with the pad of the finger; not the tip.

You know it. I just dont understand all these people pushing it with the finger tip like it was a button. Were there some previous holster types that maybe people got used to that had buttons? Just doesnt make sense to me. Or do you think it was more of an new holster that they just never bothered to learn to use properly.

I could see a "seasoned" shooter having an attitude of " I dont need no instructions. I've been drawing from every holster type imaginable for years!". Dont understand that mentality personally, but I can see that its human nature. Anyways.. I will step off my soap box now.

I intend to practice proper technique...
