I use my SBR'd PS90 for one of my home defense guns. Although I have not had an occasion to fire it indoors it must be extremely loud. I keep a pair of electronic ear protectors next to the gun. I'm not sure that I would put them on in an acute self defense situation or if it would even be a good idea - but I do practice putting them on when I get up at nite. Anyone else have a feeling about whether to do this? What do LEOs/military guys do when they practice room clearing exercises? Protect or not?

Your going to have serious hearing damage if you fire off a 5.7x28 round in a confided area. It would be wise to invest in a supressor if you plan on using a ps90 for home defense

So which suppressor should I get? Hadn't thought of the suppressor idea - and I shoot my 22's, 6.8 suppressed. Go figure....

Go with a SilencerCo Spectre 2 or the Tactical Solutions Axiom. Both can handle 5.7 and perform well.
