Does anyone know what one of these is worth? I found an E.A. J-15 lower for sale on gunbroker for $600, but I have no idea what the complete rifle would go for. This belongs to a friend that is looking to sell it.

i believe it's pre-ban because it still has the bayonet lug, but I haven't seen it in person. I've got to try to reload the pics, they didn't upload for some reason.

Yup it's a pre ban because it's a cast receiver.

The EA receivers that are cast are the older ones. Where I live somebody might pay $1000.00 for the complete rifle on G.B. Really in these parts it's the receiver that people want.

For example an LGS in my area would TRY to sell the whole rifle for $1,500-$1,800 depending on condition. However remember on G.B. your friend won't get that.

BTW the lower that you saw on GB for $600 would have been a pre ban.

So do you think $1500 would be a good starting price? I don't think it's going to be listed on GB yet, we're going try locally first.
