Okay folks, by executive order say goodby to Russian made ammo...

Section 1. (a) All property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person (including any foreign branch) of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in: Read more: Executive Order -- Blocking Property of Additional Persons Contributing to the Situation in Ukraine | The White House

Much of the 7.62 ammo is made in Ukraine and other Eastern Bloc countries so we shouldn't start seeing an immediate shortage. Although WOLF is a Russian Company that produces much of its ammo in the TULA plant they do outsource to factories in other countries. Might boost the Ukraine and other economies if we can't import Russia.

"of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred,"

This has nothing to do with ammo or weapons. It has to do solely with

1. Immigration of those people
2. Personal/business assets of those people in the USA

(B) to operate in the arms or related materiel sector in the Russian Federation; - this points to the blocked person in the USA, NOT the import entity that brokers munitions/firearms.

It says nothing about import/export restrictions of Russian made goods/services. Interesting to note, the decree says nothing about the list of the Russian people that are "Blocked". I will assume ALL Russians on expatriate visas in the USA.

Relax.
