Here we go... Another dumba$$ new guy with the same questions already posted and answered hundreds of times!:twisted:

Just bought a Hebrew Hammer FAL parts kit with no upper and barrel. I've been doing my searches and can find the stripped uppers from a couple of different sources.

What I would like to know is if someone offers an complete upper receiver parts kit or do I have to buy each and every piece separately?

Next... Which upper do I order, forged or cast, with or without handle mount? So many choices!!!

Third... Which company is the best source of parts (and service) and armorer tools?

I have lusted after these rifles ever since the Aussies visited Campbell in the '70's and they let me fondle their sweet FALs.

Thank you for your help (roast me if you choose)

1. Your parts kit should have all of the parts for the upper, if you got one like this https://palmettostatearmory.com/israeli-fn-fal-hebrew-light-barrel-used-parts-kit-no-barrel-receiver-or-magazine.html The only thing you'll have to order is the correct locking shoulder (if the one that came with your kit isn't right). You'll know that once the barrel is installed and the headspace is measured.

2. Get carry handle cut, so it looks original and your kit should have a carry handle included.

3. ARS for service and OE parts https://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com Check out his DVD and workbook for FAL building. DSA for new, USA made parts (not always as good as OE stuff though) https://www.dsarms.com/c-818-fal-sa58-parts.aspx

4. No roasting required...yet ::
