I picked up an MRD unexpectedly. Got the fde cuz that’s what they had and got a deal on it. Walked out after 5mins. Of course waiting for a black one to come in from riflegear took forever until I got home.

I get the notification it’s back in stock…anyways, I know there aren’t much for holsters out there and this kinda isn’t a holster for what everyone is looking for but it works for me…from voodoo tactical- paid $6 on clearance awhile back. Fits like a glove.

Won’t fit with light/optics but is easily cut to function with an optic. You’ll lose the extra magazine though.

Nice. I’ve gotten a bit tired of using gunbroker after all the fees I’ve paid as of late. I’ve actually liked the fde more in pictures when it first came out but wasn’t so sure I’d like it in hand, just because the mkii fde is hideous…and I have one of those. The mkiii fde is a bit darker then the frame of the mkii and I think I’ll be happy with it.

Black is the safe color but I thought the black on black didn’t show as much character as the usg’s black with grey controls. Really, though, I wanted a mkiii to take on a road trip in 1 day. So I grabbed what was available and for less then I paid for the mkii. Hopefully I don’t grow to hate the color. Gratz on yours!
