Nice. I’ve gotten a bit tired of using gunbroker after all the fees I’ve paid as of late. I’ve actually liked the fde more in pictures when it first came out but wasn’t so sure I’d like it in hand, just because the mkii fde is hideous…and I have one of those. The mkiii fde is a bit darker then the frame of the mkii and I think I’ll be happy with it.
Black is the safe color but I thought the black on black didn’t show as much character as the usg’s black with grey controls. Really, though, I wanted a mkiii to take on a road trip in 1 day. So I grabbed what was available and for less then I paid for the mkii. Hopefully I don’t grow to hate the color. Gratz on yours!
