tri-power
Went out on Saturday and gave the tri-power a shot. I will admit I was pleased with it because I found it ALOT easier to get a good shot with the chevron, as supposed to a dot. I played with it a little at 25 yards, then at 50 yards. I went through about 400 rounds and NOT ONE PROBLEM. I was there with a friend and I fired his AK and AR. I loved the AK.... but the AR was just...ho hum. My FS2K brought people from around the firing line looking at it and me as if I came from space... but the few people who accepted my offer to let them shoot it LOVED it. As I am new to firing long guns I do not have much bias. I must admit that I enjoyed shooting, in this order, my FS the best, then AK, then AR. At 25 yards I was geting 4 inch groups of 5. Feel good for 1st time out. Ummmm we wont talk about 50 yards.... :-D Tried my friends aimpoint, but I guess I have goofy eyes... I could'nt keep focus on dot. As far as ACOG goes. My shooting will be split 50/50 between an indoor 50' range, and an outdoor 150 YARD range. Tri-power for indoors... try-power PLUS 3x for outdoors! I will agree on lowlight conditions with Tri-power... not my cup of tea. Oh and the Specter ..... waaaaaaaay out of my $$$$
