I finally had a chance to take my new five seven to the range today. First let me say that it is my new favorite gun. I can't say enough good things about it. In my opinion, well worth the price for admission.

I started shooting AE and it was dead on at 15 yards. After shooting a box of AE, I loaded SS198LF. I couldn't hit the target from 15 yards. I then went with a larger target and realized that the 198 was shooting about six inches higher than the AE.

I've not seen this mentioned before. Although I did not do a search either. Is this common?

So would u turn clockwise or counter to zero for the ss198 ?
No. Zero with your carry load SS198. When you practice with 40gr AE you have to adjust the rear sight "up" about 10 to 14 clicks. The rear sight is clearly marked "UP" which is the counter-clockwise direction.

When you are done with your practice load and are going to carry adjust the rear sight "down" (clockwise) 10 to 14 clicks.

Repeat each time.
