what are some recommendations for flash hiders for a ps90 sbr? Other than the old and new style ps90 hiders, what are some other options? Will there be any indexing issues? It looks like the barrel will be too thin for a crush washer.
thanks

Most likely he has a 1/2x28. But in the off case he doesn't, no idea. I use a standard A2 flashhider. Use a crush washer that was slightly crushed and then filed it down to where it was oriented correctly. Would love to see a faux P90 flash hider adapted to be on a 1/2x28 mount so one could use it as a "thread protector".

What is the threading of the barrel and/or adaptor?
yes, i have a cmmg adapter, 1/2 x 28mm. i know every 5.56 hider will work, but i do want the shortest possible. also want it to look good. was thinking a standard a1 or a2, a vlltor vc-a1 or vc-a2( i just can't find how long they are. Is there going to be any indexing issues, or can you use a crush washer?

Yes, I know, but I am looking to see what other people are using other that the new and old style p90 hiders. Looking for recommendations and pics.
This is entirely dependent on the can if you want to add a can. My SBR is threaded 1/2X28 so I can use my direct thread EVO 9 can, but I can also put a Saker Trifecta on it so I can use my Saker 5.56 can. I have a new can coming in a Sportsman DT with a 1/2X28 threading so that I can direct thread my Sportsman to my SBR.

There are litrally hundreds of different combinations, including using the A2 birdcage on the adapter when there are no cans on the SBR.

And I hate Internet Explorer for all te mierable missing letters that t seems to want to rp hen tying.

Sorry, I don't personally have any pics of my muzzle devices on mine. I have the A2 and the PWS FS flash hiders but the PWS is the one they no longer make for the QD on Yankee Hill 'noise inhibitors'. They both looked OK for me as my choice was based more on function than looks. Currently I have no flash hider, I have my 'noise inhibitor' directly threaded to the adapter, which is from TROS as 1/2-28.

NO NO NO NO! Do not buy from him. Check my history and others.

EDIT: Just saw what your talking about on his sight. He has the P90 1/2x28 flash hider and I am surprised no one moved on this earlier. I just wish someone else had.

ok, i decided to go with a standard A2....question is, i cant get it to index it properly with a crush washer, it needs about another half turn. I have never had to use a shim kit or peel washers. Antone know where i can get some without having to pay $20 for a set?

Get a large file. File down slightly on the crush washer. Put crush washer on. "Tighten" the A2 on a little. Enough that it can be removed without to much force with your hand with wrench (which you might need anyways for the supressor). Doesn't match up? Take off, file some more. Repeat. Get to much material removed? Buy another crush washer. They are cheap. OR goto town removing more material for the next run around.

One other option: the Gem Tech P90 quick mount. I haven't installed mine yet - a compatible can is on order. It has roughly the same profile as the original P90 flash hider and the two-lug quick disconnect.

Availability can be spotty. I bought direct from Gem Tech when they were in stock...
