...Florida's Stand Your Ground statute to include an anti-mob addition. As I understand it, if there is looting as part of civil unrest/rioting within 500' of a business or residence the business or residence owner will legally be allowed to use lethal force to stop the looting. At least here in Florida we're not morons who defund law enforcement rather we're wise enough to understand LE cannot be everywhere all the time.

Does he have the support in the state government to get it through?

Our stand your ground laws here in NH allow for protection of property as well, so although looting is not mentioned specifically, but business owners can protect their property/business.

Our state legislature is VERY much Republican, I would assume that yes he would have needed support to move it forward to law. Contrary to popular belief only a few counties in Florida have succumb to libtardation the majority of the state's 67 counties are conservative, thankfully!
