All of a sudden there are 1910 FN's all over the place for me. Buddy on another board saw a posting of my newest an FN 1922 and offered me a 1900. Here's what he says about it:
I disassembled the whole gun, cleaned it, oiled it and function checked it, but it is too old for my tastes. It cycles and functions beautifully but you can tell it spent most of its life in a holster. There is some pitting on the sides. I have the old ass holster it was in too as well as maybe 5 or 6 rounds that are headstamped FN from the 20's or 30's. I was thinking somewhere around $400ish for the gun.
Here are two pics. Clearly it's been around the block....any opinions about its worth? Should I do the deal?
