FN Magazine

I'm new to the FS2000 and bought one Jan 2nd and it came with one FN stamped magazine as displayed in your photo. I was amazed that you stated that the rifle came standard with a polymer mag.
And to think I just bought two Thermold mags to test since the FN mags are high $$$.
Mine also came with a regular metal magazine. I thought that plastic magazines would gat stuck in the FS2000.

fs2000 Factory mag

Hi everybody!
Just bought a FS2000 today, haven't tried it yet. The mag with the gun was an aluminum 30 rnd. capacity. It had the type 2 follower in it. Just yesterday I upgraded my ar mags to the type 3 follower that Magpull sells. I am going to try the Magpull follower first. My Colt ar is prone to mag related jams, and was much better with the type 2 follower in. The type 3 follower seems to have very little chance to tilt, vs the type 2. I found it is much cheaper to buy unused military surplus mags and put new followers in them. What does everyone think?
Out of the different mags I have I think the FN mag is the worst.
Out of the different mags I have I think the FN mag is the worst. And at $45 it should be the best, Cproducts makes a good product for <$16
i'll stick with C-Product Mags. I bought 5 stainless steel bodied 30 round mags with the anti-tilt followers from midwayusa and paid $12.99 a piece and shipping. They've functioned flawlessly.

Do you have any experience with this magazine product?

Thanks

I have looked at the Cammenga EasyMag as well ... would like to try one sometime soon. It seems like a good design.
I have no luck with the c products mags...sounds like I'm the only one since everyone else on the forum loves them.

I purchased four c products mags and two hk clones, and neither work. They fail to load every few rounds.

The FNH mag is the only one that works flawlessly. :p

I'm using lake city 62 grain 5.56 ammo...anyone else have problems with this ammo or am I the lucky one?
