FN Customer Service terrible

Has anybody had any problem with the 16S or FN service? I had bought it for about 2600 dollars in October I put 100 rounds through it and loved it only had a couple hiccups which in hindsight is unsat but due to my excitement I overlooked it. I brought the weapon home cleaned it and noticed the bolt was fretting/wearing so I called FN, they said to send it in they will look at it, so 40 dollars later I do. I was already not happy I had to send it in and pay for shipping. I get it back 3 weeks later, go to the range put 160 rounds through it... Same issue happens again after they replaced the bolt. I call again they say send it in. I really wanted the rifle replaced however I brought it back to my dealer and they sent it this time. I've called a few times for status and questions related to the issue and I've played phone tag and their customer service is less than impressive. Apparently a part is back ordered now so I'm still without my gun. It's been a month now. Essentially in my mind I've spent 2600 dollars for something that's been stuck in limbo for months. Does anybody know where I stand, can I demand a refund or can I demand a replacement? I think this is absolutely absurd! Am I being ridiculous or am I just, I want your guys take on this. 1-1000 dollar gun okay I get it and can be a little more calm... But not 2600 dollars im not rich off my ass. I've literally not used the gun once for fun because it's been defective. I've dealt with other company's in the past and received awesome service and have had things replaced. Why haven't they stepped up and just replaced the weapon. This gun is the Ferrari of firearms if your Ferrari breaks after you buy it they don't leave you out in the dust... Anyways extreme scenario but you get my point. Regardless please don't comment and say SCAR16s do this... They don't they aren't meant to. My dealer has multiple and hundreds of thousands of rounds through his and this has never happened along with everyone else I've talked too. Thanks guys

"Unsat" that's a new one.... That's cray.

What were the issues?
:? I only had 1 dealing with the FNH customer service and after 1 week of ZERO response to my e-mail, the day I posted on their site at Facebook and after a picture of the prob. a new unit was sent within 5 days!

However my part was less than $50.

Best Luck:-o
unsat= unsatisfactory

factory and brand new gen3's
This is NOT by any means normal whatsoever. I have never experienced this on any SCAR I've owned and my 17 does not do this at all nor does anybody I personally know with a 16s. My wear is worse than any picture I've seen and the ones posted here and like I said I was receiving malfunctions as well using good brass 62gr NATO ammo. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. a brand new weapon should not wear itself down to this degree with only a couple hundred rounds through it and it certainly shouldn't malfunction under conditions that are perfect for a firearms to be fired under with quality ammunition.
Just curious, did you fire 100 rounds or 160 rounds during your last session? Also what types of malfunctions were you experiencing with what brand of ammo? Thanks
Normal.

Personally seen so many pictures posted on FNF over the years stating the same, that tracking the number of times is impossible, and once the corner is chamfered, it does not continue to increase.

Malfunctions are attributed to gas piston rings being improperly aligned, gas regulator being in the incorrect position, underpowered factory loaded ammunition, or handloads.

If you aren't happy with the answers, FN will examine the weapon as they did previously, replace the part(s), and test fire the weapon prior to returning it. If the weapon functions and shoots within specifications, you will receive the same weapon that was in for service.

Get the gun back and sell it. Or keep it and keep posting rethreads.
